Art is a Mergers & Acquisitions Intermediary and attorney who, for over a decade prior to joining ROI, helped financially distressed companies restructure their operations and balance sheets, often through Chapter 11 proceedings, asset sales, and/or renegotiating critical contractual relationships. His experience spans a wide range of industries, including retail, wholesale, construction, healthcare, telecommunications, and energy. Art has worked on some of the largest corporate restructurings, including those of Enron and Global Crossing, and practiced at the premier business reorganization firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP. Law & Politics and the publishers of Boston Magazine recognized Art as a “Rising Star” in his field. As an M&A Intermediary, he brings his substantial business knowledge and deal making experience to helping buyers and sellers in the lower middle market, including in circumstances of financial distress.
Art is a magna cum laude graduate of Brandeis University, where he majored in both Economics and Political Science. He received his law degree from the University of Virginia.
