Paul Corrigan
Paul brings a diverse background and unique skill set to ROI. After graduating with a B.S. in Architecture from the University of Virginia and a Masters degree in Structural Engineering from Cornell University, Paul worked for 6 years at VVKR, Inc., the largest architectural/engineering firm in Washington, DC. After becoming professionally licensed in both fields, he became Vice-President of their Technology Division where he implemented their Computer Aided Design (CAD) system.
Next, Paul went own to found his own computer design, visualization, and software firm. With offices in Washington, New York, and Boston, the firm participated in many of Boston’s Big Dig design contracts. Running the day-to-day operations of that firm gave Paul an intimate understanding and appreciation of the challenges business owners confront every day. He led the marketing and finance departments of his firm for 12 years before selling the firm in 1997.
Paul then worked for 8 years as a Financial Planner helping clients to achieve financial independence through estate planning and insurance. Many of Paul’s financial clients had businesses to sell, liquidate, or transfer. The successful disposition of those assets helped Paul learn about business transfer from the business owner’s perspective. His understanding of financial tools and models helps him to structure successful business transfer transactions.
Today Paul offers his clients an understanding of their situation, proven strategies to market their businesses, and powerful software tools to help business owners to sell their business.
