Lyn Triffletti joins ROI Corporation as Vice President, Medical Division

Cohasset resident Lyn Triffletti has joined ROI Corporation (http://roibusinessbrokers.com) as their Vice President, Medical Division.

In this role, she will assist the rapidly-growing business brokerage firm as it furthers its expansion into the medical practice industry. She brings a wealth of healthcare business experience to her role with ROI, including having run her own medical consulting firm for more than 14,000 physicians. She has worked extensively with health care attorneys in MA, RI, CT and NY and is well-respected in the industry.

She was previously VP of Regulatory Affairs at a major Boston hospital, and has been a corporate compliance officer for several physician groups, as well as for a 4500-employee private firm in southeastern Massachusetts.  She holds two certifications with the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and the American Health Information Management Association (AIHMA).

She said that she knows firsthand what ROI is like, because the firm helped her sell her own business, Physician Chart Auditors, which she had run for 16 years. “Gary (Rayberg) and his team were great,” she said, adding, “Gary is always interested in expanding his firm’s expertise, and when we talked it seemed as if my 30 years’ experience in healthcare would nicely fit with their expansion into this field.”

Triffletti added, “We will be able to help those seeking to sell a medical business with the critical piece of determining its actual worth, and of course helping to match interested buyers with the practices that are offered for sale.” The medical industry is near and dear to Triffletti, a native of Fitchburg, MA. Her husband is a physician at BIDMC. They are parents to two adult children.

Triffletti is a graduate of Assumption College. Her recreational activities include playing the piano and writing music. She enjoys traveling, also, and spending time with family and friends.

Gary Rayberg, President of ROI Corporation, said, “We’re very pleased to welcome Lyn to our ROI family. It’s a great compliment to us that we had the chance to help her with the sale of her business, and based on that experience, she has become an integral part of our team. Lyn brings extensive knowledge of the medical industry, plus the experience of having run a business and sold it. She has the perfect blend of knowledge and experience.”
