ROI Corporation, a leading firm for the transfer of ownership of businesses, today announced the recent sale of Wilson Brothers HVAC of Pepperell, MA.
This sale adds to the many HVAC and plumbing companies ROI has brokered over the years. Wilson Brothers was established in 1987 and employs 34 people in its Pepperell MA location. The family business was run by three brothers: Thomas, Paul and John, and all three plan to remain with the company post sale to assure the same high quality of service. It is that reputation for excellent service that allowed them to grow quickly and become a popular regional service provider. After decades of successfully leading the company’s growth from the ground up the owners decided it would be best served by a larger organization. The new owners will expand, and add jobs, while maintaining the same management team.
ROI brokered the sale through a controlled informal auction process, viewed by most M&A professionals as the best means of offering successful companies for sale. Wilson Brothers HVAC was sold to a parent company which had previously acquired several similar firms: Murphy’s Air Conditioning HVAC and Plumbing of Cape Cod, and Baker Elman Plumbing in Newton. The parent company’s CEO is Michael Ford.
Gary Rayberg, president of ROI, has sold about 30 HVAC and Plumbing companies in recent years.
